what is the 5-year covenant?

The covenant is a renewed promise between this church and the Alliance of Reformed Churches, made through the Grow Network.

Why renew a covenant?

In Scripture, covenant is how God binds Himself to His people and how His people commit to one another (for example Genesis 17, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Luke 22:20).

The Alliance uses covenant, not heavy rules, to hold churches together. Renewing it is a regular, intentional “yes, still in” from each church’s leaders.

Signing is a public statement by the consistory that these beliefs and this mission are the church’s own.
